In addition to fall alerts, Key Habit Change Alerts (for example, disturbed sleep patterns, increases in sedentary behaviour, nutrition issues and changes in bathroom behaviours, to name a few) warn of a higher risk of a fall occurring in the first place, providing additional peace of mind to seniors, carers and their families, thereby extending safe ageing at home.
AngelAlert is exclusively available across Dublin from my company SmartSpace Technologies, a specialist security and assistive living technology installer.
Installations of one simple wall-mounted sensor per room range from one room (typically a bathroom) to whole-home protection, or typically 1 hour to 3 hours respectively.
Internationally, the technology is being rapidly adopted across both care home and home care settings.
