The popular free-admission 50 Plus Show is back at the RDS, Dublin next month and, according to the organisers, there will be ‘attractions galore’
Apart from the participation of the likes of over 100 exhibitors, there will be an on-going programme of events
The programme includes talks on the treasures of The National Gallery, a Brendan Behan tribute by Apre-Match star Gary Cooke, cooking demonstrations each day, performances by singer-harpist Claire Roche, creative writing and painting workshops plus yoga demonstrations.
Improve your digital skills
And if you want to improve your digital skills Vodafone Ireland Foundation will be on hand at this year to provide digital skills workshops particularly to anyone with very limited on-line knowledge.
There is a growing digital divide between generations. And with services and communities becoming increasingly online, it is more important than ever to ensure no-one is left behind on the journey to a digital world.
‘Hi Digital’ is a step-by-step course designed for anyone who needs a bit of help developing their digital skills, particularly those who have rarely or never been online
The 50 Plus Show takes place in the Industries Hall of the RDS on the 14th and 15th of April
