Cyanotype Printing Workshop at the Sligo 50 Plus Show

By Senior Times on June 11, 2026 50 Plus Show, Hobbies & Pastimes

We are delighted to have a new Arts & Crafts Workshop at this year’s Sligo 50 Plus Show with local artist Lucy Goodier

2pm on both the 1st & 2nd of July – Cyanotype Prinitng Workshop with Lucy Goodier
Cyanotype printing is a camera-less photographic technique that uses UV light to create striking white-on-Prussian blue prints. Invented in 1842, the process involves coating paper or natural fabric with a light-sensitive iron solution, placing objects or negatives on top, exposing them to sunlight, and washing in cold water to reveal a striking blue and white print.
All materials are provided and participants can take home their finished work
To book your class you need to register to attend the show by clicking on the image below. Once you have registered you will be sent a link to reserve your place
