The Wednesday dance classes for people aged 50+ began at St Teresa’s Church in 2007. Initially set up to run for three 8 week terms annually, the classes, due to their popularity now run all year round. Our new location at The Carmelite Community Centre – 56 Aungier Street offers a calm and light-filled space in which to dance. Strange though it may seem the sun always shines on a Wednesday afternoon between 2 to 3.30pm (yes it’s true we’ve counted the times!), but then perhaps that’s because we all have a sunnier outlook after dancing!
