Tim O’Brien is an award winning, senior journalist at The Irish Times where he has worked since 1988. He holds a Diploma in Journalism from Dublin Institute of Technology (now the Technical University of Dublin) and a BA (hons) in Humanities (Psychology) from Dublin City University. He also holds diplomas in TEFL teaching, Italian language and water safety, He is a member of the National Union of Journalists, the Psychological Society of Ireland, the British Psychological Society and the Inland Waterways Association of Ireland.
