Facilitators Patricia Conroy and Corina Hogan will be hosting a Needle Felting Workshop at the Sligo 50 Plus Show on the 3rd of July at 11am
Needle felting is a process to create art from loose woolen fibre. The needle used is barbed and is used on a foam pad to bind wool into desired shapes.
Wool is dyed and colours can be blended. A very therapeutic activity for anyone. This craft is easy to learn and will create beautiful art.
Each class gives an insight into how the wool can be used from fleece to artwork. Each person attending the class will take home a creative piece. This class is suitable for complete beginners.
