Great mix of exhibitors for lifestyle expo at IVP Hotel, Fuengirola
With just under a month to go, the 50 Plus Expo, the lifestyle event for the Coast’s retired ex-pats and natives is shaping into a great ‘must visit’ event with an attractive mix of exhibitors from all sectors. At this stage, 75 per cent of the stands have been booked, with many companies taking more than one unit. Many of these companies have supported the event from Day One – so we must be doing something right!

Once again, to maximise interest and attendance to the event we have managed to secure the services of Eric Knowles, known to millions for his appearances on the BBC TV programme Antiques Roadshow. Eric will be giving free valuations of small items and collectables, as well as larger items from photographs.
We are also delighted to announce that we will also have Tom Keane on hand to give free valuations of jewellery, watches and paintings. Tom regularly appears in BBC programmes such Cash in the Attic and Antiques Road Trip and runs hugely successful antiques ‘emporium’ in Oxfordshire. Completing the valuations team will be coin, stamp and medal expert Mike Kelly.
Fashion shows
For the first time at the event and to further boost attendance, we have commissioned the exclusive Mijas-based boutique Mapuchi Moda to organise fashion shows on both days of the Expo. Mapuchi Moda are well-known on the Coast for their presentations and the quality of their creations for women of all ages. They promise an eclectic and stylish mix!
Art exhibition
‘Arty’ visitors as well as fashionistas will be catered for with an art exhibition featuring works from members of the Andalucian Art Group
