Hi Digital Programme at the 50 Plus Show
Hi Digital is a free digital skills programme created by Vodafone Foundation in partnership with ALONE. It supports Older People to build the confidence, independence and practical skills needed to navigate the digital world safely, stay connected with loved ones and local communities, and access essential online services without being left behind.
The programme has been successfully delivered by ALONE nationwide and has already supported thousands of Older People to improve their digital skills. Support is available through tailored one-to-one sessions with trained Digital Champion volunteers in accessible community and public settings. Older People can also use the free online learning course at www.hidigital.ie or visit a participating Vodafone store every Friday from 10am to 1pm for support.
You do not need to be a Vodafone customer.
Participants can receive help with using smartphones and tablets, accessing the internet, communicating safely online, using apps, exploring hobbies and travel, accessing online services, and developing greater awareness of online banking and digital safety.
