Let’s get back to business… safely

As you are aware, the recent elevated COVID case numbers has caused us to postpone all future 50 Plus Expo’s for the foreseeable future.

As a member of the The Irish Exhibition Organisers Association we are now in regular contact with both the Department of Business and Minister Troy and believe that the voice of the IEOA is being heard loud and clear and that they are actively working to provide us with a restart date.

As an industry sector we are very well prepared now for a restart having drafted:
    • IEOA Roadmap to Safe Exhibitions
    • Event Protocols
    • Safe Exhibition Handbook
    • Safe Exhibition Checklist
    • Safe Event Logo
These live documents have been reviewed by the HSA and the Department of Business.

We have also become members of UFI and have access to all of their resources which have been very useful.

Our lobbying campaign has opened up a communication directly to the Department of Business and to the junior Minister Robert Troy (LETTER & SOCIAL MEDIA) who is well briefed now and has taken the lead in vocalising our case to NPHET and the Dept of Taoiseach.

    Spread the love
