Singer, songwriter and Irish musician and the lead singer with the Hothouse Flowers, Liam Ó Maonlaí has joined the SeniorTimes Podcast Series. 

Liam will be speaking to some of Ireland’s most influential musicians on the Irish scene today

Liam Ó Maonlaí meets Composer and Fiddle player Charlie Lennon
Charlie Lennon is one of the most prolific living Irish tune composers and he has also written some ambitious large scale works with orchestras.
He was named TG4 Composer of the Year in 2006. He has published a book of tunes Musical Memories. A second book is to be published in 2012. Click below to listen.

Liam Ó Maonlaí meets composer, multi-instrumentalist and woodwind master Renaud – Gabriel Pion
Renaud-Gabriel uses real-time electronics. He is currently sharing his time between Paris and Berlin. Classically trained but also largely self-taught, he plays bass clarinet, Turkish clarinet, saxophones, bass flute, English horn, e.w.i (electronic woodwind) and piano. Click below to listen.
