Liz Downes is a community activist who lives in Mitchelstown, Co. Cork. She admits to originally being afraid of technology, however has now become a High Digital champion and is passionate about how this has enriched her life at 74 years of age. She is an advocate for the national age-friendly Ireland program, active throughout towns and cities in Ireland to prepare for the rapid aging of our population.
