The first guest is Nicola Morris, MAGI. She is followed by Brendan Scott, manager of Roots Ireland, Julian Walton, the 2021 recipient of the Wallace Clare Award from the Irish Genealogical Research Society, and Maeve Rogan, Publicity Officer of the North of Ireland Family History Society.
Nicola Morris is a busy woman. She is President of Accredited Genealogists Ireland, she writes a Q&A column in Irish Roots Magazine, she lectures on family history and she runs her own genealogy firm. Nicola is familiar to television viewers, from the various versions of Who Do You Think You Are? as well as The Great House Revival. She’s also an engaging conversationalist. She tells Paul about how she got involved in genealogy almost by accident and found that she loved it. She gives an insight into her various responsibilities within the profession, shares her views on things genealogical, talks about researching for WDYTYA? and reminisces about meeting Jeremy Irons and Judi Dench.
