The Patient Advocacy Service at the 50 Plus Show
The Patient Advocacy Service is an independent, confidential and free complaints advocacy service that provides advice, information and support to people in Ireland who want to make a formal complaint about the care they have experienced in a public acute hospital or nursing home. The service also supports people in the aftermath of Patient Safety Incidents.
The Service’s team of professional Advocates will be available to speak to anyone who wants to make a complaint or just find out more about the support they provide. The Advocates will listen to people’s experiences, explain the process of making a complaint and outline the options that are available. Advocates provide people with the information and guidance they require to make their own informed decision.
You can contact the Patient Advocacy Service from Monday to Friday, 10am – 4pm, on 0818 293003. Visit the Patient Advocacy Service website for more information: www.patientadvocacyservice.ie
Or come and meet us at the 50 Plus Show in the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa in Cork on the 12th & 13th of September.
