Gary Cooke chats with Cathy O Connor about her recent trip to Morocco with TD Active Holidays saying it was so much more than a holiday, it was an experience! In fact, she says it was a series of jaw dropping experiences that she will cherish forever. We’re not talking about the usual lovely but forgettable holiday vistas, seen in the usual resort type places, with the usual familiar sounds and scents . No, this was different. An action packed week in a joyously diverse culture, where we were privileged to experience the out-of-the-ordinary on a daily basis.

TD active Holidays is an adventure holidays tour company based in Dublin, Ireland. Their Holidays range from walking, yoga and photography to Explore range of exciting small group adventure tours. The aim is to provide customers with exceptional, authentic experiences so that they are not just ticking off a destination from their list, but getting off the beaten track, taking part in amazing activities, embracing the local culture, and people at the destinations they visit and really getting to the heart of the destination.

They do this in the company of like-minded travellers and build long lasting friendships and memories along the way. Every holiday is accompanied by a passionate local guide, helping to bring each group together, and welcoming our customers individually as a local, excited to share their love for their region.

They like to include authentic accommodation on all our tours. Their holidays generally stay in locally owned boutique hotels, 3 star hotels, home stays or guesthouses to try benefit the local community. They occasionally offer 4 star hotels but never a chain hotel or a 5 star luxury hotel.
