Wellness and yoga holidays have become for many people a great way to unwind and relieve stress

TD active Holidays’ range of Yoga breaks have surged in popularity with tailormade small group yoga holidays to Croatia this May and The Algarve in April CLICK HERE

When you join TD Active Holidays on a relaxing yoga break, you’ll spend mornings and evenings enjoying a range of yoga classes led by a qualified yoga teacher from MOONS Yoga Loft and will have afternoons free to enjoy local life in one of the spectacular destinations. The retreats are centred around twice daily Vinyasa Hatha Yoga practices which will be themed and varied each day to keep it interesting and all sessions will focus on slow, mindful movement with stronger holds.

The expert instructors also provide variations for each pose so that you can intensify or soften based on each person’s needs. All of the yoga classes are open level and beginners are most welcome. Beginners will be offered rest whenever they wish in the sessions, however it is advised that you have attended at least a term of yoga classes prior to joining one of the yoga holidays.

According to Sinead Mooney, TD active Holidays’ Yoga Partner- “I am so proud of our carefully curated Yoga Holidays, not only because on a practical level it’s a holiday but everything from flights, your 4* accommodation, food, yoga it’s all taken care of! But also, the essence of our escapes is unique as we have created not only an accessible offering but one that provides the warmth of community alongside the restful relief of space. Our classes are mindful movement with meditation morning and evening, and there is ample free time all day and evening to explore or to sleep! The whole design is based around you – the individual, finding yourself on and off the mat, taking what you need and heading home feeling empowered, revitalised and rested. Plus, we always have such a great laugh from departing as strangers smiling shyly on the plane until we fly home together as friends! Deeply restful, warmly welcoming, soulful yet playful”.

TD active Holidays Yoga Holiday in Croatia promises to be a relaxing and reviving yoga escape to the jewel of the Adriatic. With an enviably warm climate, heavenly beaches and stunning scenery, this country is the ideal backdrop for a truly tranquil holiday. You’ll be based in a secluded resort on the island of Hvar; close to pine forests and the gorgeous Adriatic Sea. Between yoga sessions there will be free time to enjoy walks along the idyllic coastline, relax by the pool, rent a bike or simply soak up the atmosphere.

With a year-round superb climate, fantastic beaches and dramatic landscapes, the Algarve is the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and reviving yoga holiday. Between yoga sessions you’ll also have free time to take in the natural highlights of this region, listening to the sound of the waves against the shore or simply bask in the tranquillity of your surroundings.

Yoga retreats start from €899 per person and as with all of TD Active Holidays, includes return flights, guided transfers, and hotel accommodation and some meals.
